Please send a new crayon box as soon as possible. We are out of new crayons and the students are in need of clean/new crayons!!

Welcome back! I hope you and your child had a great spring break. I had a very relaxing one:) It is now April and we are going to be very busy from now until school is out. Please read the newsletter each week and keep up with our Upcoming Events! Our Field Trip is this Wednesday!! Please be sure to read the notes that have come home. They are very important and give lots of good information for our upcoming trip to Desoto Caverns. Please read the reminders below:)

Field Trip Reminders

Students need to be at school on time. We will load buses at 8:00. We will be on a tight schedule, so we will not be able to wait on anyone that is late.

What to bring:

·      Backpack (folders will not go home Wed./No homework Wed.) with the following in it:

o  two snacks in a paper sacks (two drinks, two snacks-NO sodas for snack. They will spew on the bus)

o  coloring books/story books FROM HOME. Crayons must be in a ziplock bag. Your child will not be able to talk anything from school. It must be from home.

o  Lunch in a paper sack (if your child brings it from home) NO lunch boxes and NO coolers. I will have a cooler for lunch drinks. Everything must be able to be thrown away.

·      Wear Tennis Shoes. The cave floor is slippery.

·     We will return to school around 3:30. Please make sure someone is at the school by 3:15 to pick up your child. There will NOT be a bus to take your child home.
