This Week in Our Class...

Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you all had a weekend full of rest! I got to spend time with my Grandmother and enjoyed every minute of it:)

What Are we Learning?

Reading: Our star story this week will be The Strongest One (pages 132-149) The comprehension skill this week is realism and fantasy.  The comprehension test will be given on Thursday. 

Math: Chapter 2: place value to 1,000; different ways to show #s; count on & back by 10 & 100; number names.

Reading: Our star story this week will be Henry and Mudge and the Starry Night. (pages 72-87) The comprehension skill this week is character and setting.  The comprehension test will be given on Thursday this week.         

Math: Chapter 1- Even and Odd, Place Value, Expanded Form

Last week we really got into our Math Routine! Here are some of my kiddos working hard in Math Stations!

This week we had Grandparents' Day! Thank you to all the Grandparents' and Family members that came:) 

We will be having Penny Wars next week! YAY! Please start saving up those pennies and quarters. All of the money raised will go to help our classroom:)
