Oct. 22-23

This is a short week! Fall break was a well needed break and I hope everyone got lots of rest:) This week we are studying BATS! This (short) week will be full of so much fun!! Here is the newsletter for this week:

Oct. 12-16

One week until FALL BREAK!! WHOO HOO!! This is our last full week before we have our well-needed fall break:) Here is what our week will look like-

We will learn about Christopher Columbus on Monday and Spiders Tuesday-Friday! We will complete research on a spider and write a report. Then we will draw and label our spiders on Friday:) This will be a packed week! Let's get to it!

Oct. 5-9

This week we are learning all about PUMPKINS!!! It is finally fall and the weather is cooling down some. The leaves are turning beautiful colors and falling to the ground! Football is on Fridays and Saturdays (and if you are my husband, every other night as well!) and soups go in the crockpots:) I love this time of year! We will begin our October units with pumpkins and then we will continue the unit with bats, spiders, and Halloween. We will compare bats and owls. We will learn how pumpkins grow. Hopefully we will even get to carve a pumpkin somewhere in this month:) Here is what is happening this week:
