This week in reading we are learning about Facts and Opinions! Facts are pieces of information that can be proven true or false by reading or asking experts. Opinions are statements of feelings, or what you think!
We are also learning about comparing objects using the -er/-est endings. Remember: when you add an ending to a word with y, you change the y to i then add the ending. If you add an ending to a word that is VC, you double the final consonant and then add the ending:)
We are studying biographies in writing. We are learning about George Washington Carver and Martin Luther King, Jr. We will be writing mini-biographies for both.
In math, we moved on to Chapter 10! We are learning about collecting data and putting it in charts and graphs. This is a fun chapter and I hope your children love learning all there is to know about graphs and charts:)
