Welcome Back!
We will begin a new math chapter this week... Money and Time! Parents, you can help out at home by asking your child to read the time, tell whether it is AM or PM, and count change & dollar bills.
In reading, we will move on to a new set of skills, but we won't test on them until the next week. With so much going on this week, I don't feel that the students will be 100% ready for the tests. They will have a Spelling Pre-Test on Friday, though.

Our reading comprehension skills this week are Plot and Theme. These skills have already been introduced so this should be a review for the students.
Plot- The beginning, middle, and end of the story.
Theme- The "big idea", what the author wants the reader to learn from the story.

March 31st: Field Trip to Constitution Village. Please be sure to have your child at school by 7:30. We will be loading buses by 8:00
